Role Overview
This position is for an SAP ABAP developer who can build dependable, high-quality custom solutions and contribute to technical problem-solving across functional teams. The role requires independent execution from functional specifications, coordination with colleagues in other countries, and regular collaboration with teams in the United States, including at least 3 hours of overlap with U.S. business hours.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will develop efficient custom ABAP solutions, explain standard code logic to functional stakeholders when needed, and work with minimal supervision. The role also involves partnering with international counterparts and supporting cross-border collaboration in a distributed work environment.
Qualification
Candidates should hold a BE, ME, or MCA degree and have 4 or more years of experience in IT.
Required Skills and Experience
The ideal applicant should have practical experience in several of the following areas: RESTful ABAP applications, Core Data Services, object-oriented ABAP, Smartforms, ALV reports, BADI implementation, user exits, SAP Business Workflow, SAP standard tables and their relationships in at least one module, SAP BTP, and SAP archiving. Strong communication, interpersonal ability, and a solid academic record are also expected.
Work Schedule Requirement
The candidate must be available for at least 3 hours of overlap with U.S. business hours to enable effective teamwork with global stakeholders.
