We are inviting Expressions of Interest for multiple Sample Preparer positions at our Geochemistry site based in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. This position requires dedication to working in a dynamic environment servicing mining and exploration clients by preparing mineral samples using specialized machinery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate warehouse machinery including crushers, splitters, and pulverisers to prepare rock, core, and drill chip samples for laboratory testing.
  • Conduct physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods.
  • Perform numerical sorting, sample labelling, and follow strict safety procedures including mandatory use of personal protective equipment like half-face respirators.
  • Collaborate within a team to meet daily production objectives.

Work Conditions

This role is physically demanding, involves working in dusty environments requiring clean-shaven faces to ensure respirator seals, and exposure to noise and variable temperatures. The weekly schedule may vary across day and night shifts, including:
