Sales Officer - Ludhiana

Role Overview

Relish Foods is seeking a dynamic and goal-oriented Sales Officer to join their Sales & Business Development team in Ludhiana, Punjab. This field-based position involves driving B2B and retail growth by securing new customers, expanding market presence, and nurturing current client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, approach, and onboard new retailers, supermarkets, cafés, and food outlets.
• Generate leads and convert them into active, loyal customers.
• Meet monthly and quarterly sales objectives consistently.
• Maintain and manage existing customer accounts to encourage repeat business.
• Conduct frequent market visits to ensure full coverage of designated territory.
• Increase product SKU penetration and maximize average order size.
• Establish and strengthen partnerships with retailers, QSR owners, and procurement personnel.
• Ensure products are correctly stocked, visibly presented, and merchandised at all outlets.
• Monitor competitor pricing strategies, product offerings, promotions, and overall market trends.
• Gather customer feedback and collaborate with internal teams for efficient resolution of issues.
• Maintain daily sales records, customer data, and market insights reports.

Candidate Profile

• Graduate degree in any discipline.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in field sales, preferably within FMCG, frozen foods, beverages, QSR, or retail sectors.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and proactive work ethic.
• Familiarity with Ludhiana market is advantageous.
• Willingness and capacity to perform extensive fieldwork and conduct customer visits regularly.
• Basic proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and comfortable with sales reporting.
