Job Overview
The Sales Executive will focus on generating new business, sustaining relationships with existing clients, promoting a range of textile products, achieving sales goals, and broadening the company's market reach. This position requires frequent client visits, product demonstrations, handling orders, and collaborating with various internal teams to ensure client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and create new sales opportunities via field visits, cold calls, and meetings with clients.
- Maintain and nurture strong relationships with current customers, offering exceptional service.
- Promote and sell diverse textile products including denim, woven, knitted, cotton, and other fabrics.
- Assess client needs and suggest appropriate fabric solutions.
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets consistently.
- Prepare price quotations, engage in price negotiations, and finalize sales transactions.
- Follow up promptly on customer inquiries, samples, and pending orders.
- Coordinate with production, merchandising, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Track customer payments and liaise with the accounts department to facilitate collections.
- Maintain detailed records of customer contacts, sales efforts, and order statuses.
- Conduct market analysis to monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and to spot new business prospects.
- Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.
- Compile daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for management review.
Additional Information
Salary range is ₹15,000 to ₹22,000 per month.
