About the Role
This position is for a Romanized Hindi Transcription Expert working on contract basis with flexible hours ranging from 10 to 40 hours per week. The job is remote and offers compensation between $8 and $16 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Precisely transcribe Romanized Hindi audio and textual content into accurate written form.
- Review and amend automatic Romanized Hindi transcriptions to ensure correctness.
- Attach detailed metadata tags and rich contextual annotations to audio and text files.
- Maintain consistent quality, linguistic accuracy, and transcription integrity in all assignments.
- Work closely with client teams to follow project standards and best practices.
- Adhere to deadlines while efficiently handling multiple transcription tasks.
Requirements
- Fluent in reading, writing, and understanding Romanized Hindi.
- Demonstrable transcription experience with a keen eye for detail and delivering high-quality results.
- Skilled in adding metadata and performing annotation duties on transcription files.
- Capable of identifying and correcting errors in automatically generated transcriptions.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities reflecting professionalism and meticulousness.
