Role Overview
The Restoration Technician plays a crucial role in restoring carpets, upholstery, and draperies affected by water, smoke, fire, or debris damage. The role requires upholding company values by treating customers and colleagues with respect and courtesy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop expertise in water restoration, mold removal, and fire damage cleanup.
- Manage and maintain schedules to ensure timely delivery of services.
- Respond promptly to water damage calls and implement water mitigation following IICRC guidelines and company protocols.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding work scope and paperwork.
- Keep all restoration and cleaning equipment clean, maintained, and ready for use.
- Engage in marketing efforts to promote additional services and expand business.
- Perform additional tasks as necessary, including cross-training in related roles.
Requirements
- Experience in restoration or construction is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Capability to occasionally lift or move weights up to 100 pounds.
- Competent in computer use, including word processing, business software, and spreadsheets.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
