Role overview
NVIDIA Research Singapore is looking for a strong AI research scientist to contribute to GPU-accelerated, efficient AI computing. The work spans language models, visual generation, and robotics, with a focus on building generative AI systems that are both highly capable and computationally efficient.
You will join a collaborative research group that regularly publishes in leading machine learning, robotics, and computer vision venues. The role also offers the opportunity to influence NVIDIA products through applied research and technology transfer.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, research, and speed up new generative AI model architectures and methods.
- Produce original research suitable for publication in top-tier venues.
- Work closely with teammates and partner teams across the organization.
- Guide and support interns as part of the research effort.
- Present research work at conferences and industry events.
- Move promising research outcomes into product-facing teams.
- Collaborate with outside researchers and academic partners.
Required profile
- Deep understanding of large language models and foundation models.
- Evidence of publication in leading conferences such as CVPR, ICML, ICLR, ICCV, or NeurIPS.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree in computer science or electrical engineering, backed by a strong research record.
- Strong coding ability in rapid prototyping environments such as Python; experience with C++ and parallel programming such as CUDA is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with standard machine learning frameworks, including PyTorch.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
