Role overview
We are hiring experienced English-speaking professionals to support a remote patient scheduling operation. In this position, you will be the initial contact for patients arranging important medical imaging appointments, delivering service that is calm, accurate, compassionate, and efficient.
This opportunity is well suited to someone with strong client-service abilities who can balance empathy, precision, and productivity while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Handle incoming patient phone calls in a polished and reassuring manner.
- Place outbound calls whenever follow-up is needed.
- Answer patient questions through email.
- Book, change, and confirm appointments.
- Check patient details and keep records updated correctly.
- Walk patients through scheduling steps and appointment preparation instructions.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with patients and internal colleagues.
- Work across several systems while recording each interaction accurately.
- Provide a consistently strong patient experience in every interaction.
Contract and compensation
The position pays USD 5.50 per hour and is paid weekly in arrears. This is an independent contractor role.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday workweek.
- No weekend shifts.
- Working hours are scheduled between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM Eastern Time (EST).
Training and onboarding
- Two weeks of paid product training.
- One week of nesting with coaching assistance.
- Move into production immediately after nesting ends.
Equipment and technical setup
A company laptop will be sent to selected candidates, but applicants must already have a personal setup that meets the following requirements.
- Windows 11 computer; Mac devices are not supported.
- Intel i5 processor or better.
- At least 16 GB RAM.
- Webcam.
- USB headset.
- Stable fiber internet with a wired Ethernet connection.
- Quiet, professional work area without distractions.
- Second monitor.
- A backup power option is strongly recommended to reduce disruption during power outages.
