Release Engineer

Role Overview

We are searching for a meticulous and technically proficient Release Engineer to oversee, refine, and support our software release lifecycle. The incumbent will handle release coordination, enhance deployment efficiency, guarantee product quality, and ensure dependable software delivery through effective release management techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, oversee, and enhance release workflows, automation pipelines, and deployment processes to back continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) efforts.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, QA, operations, and product teams to facilitate smooth, predictable, and high-quality software releases.
• Manage build and release cycles, maintain release environments, and automate deployment procedures.
• Validate software packages and continuously monitor release operations.
• Identify areas for process enhancements, resolve deployment complications, coordinate technical modifications, and apply best practices to boost delivery speed, stability, and reliability.
• Contribute to developing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, release automation tools, and operational protocols.
• Analyze release performance and improve workflow effectiveness while supporting production readiness and aligning software delivery with technical and business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical fields.
• Comprehensive understanding of software development lifecycle, release management methodologies, and deployment strategies.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD concepts, tools, and automation workflows.
• Knowledge in build systems, version control, configuration management, and deployment practices.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages for automation and process enhancement.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructures, modern software delivery architectures, and infrastructure concepts.
• Understanding of software testing, quality assurance practices, and production deployment requirements.
• Skilled in troubleshooting build failures, deployment challenges, and environment-related technical issues.
• Experience coordinating software delivery with development, operations, and quality assurance teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail and technical precision.
• Capability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and meet delivery deadlines.
• Effective communication skills to document processes and collaborate with technical stakeholders.
