Role Overview
This position is dedicated to ensuring the Regulatory Division functions with precision, discipline, and full transparency regarding all obligations and commitments. It plays a crucial role in minimizing the risk of missed deadlines, incomplete submissions, and inadequate engagement with regulatory authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee that all regulatory requirements and deadlines are tracked diligently and fulfilled promptly.
- Prepare, file, and systematically organize regulatory submissions and communications to maintain a structured, audit-ready repository.
- Report compliance matters consistent with company governance policies and procedures.
Regulatory Compliance Duties
- Maintain an exhaustive register encompassing all regulatory obligations arising from licenses, laws, regulations, directives, decisions, commitments, and action plans.
- Closely track deadlines and coordinate with relevant departments for follow-up.
- Escalate any overdue items and potential compliance risks effectively.
- Compile regular compliance status reports.
- Maintain a master calendar containing all reporting deadlines, license renewal dates, meetings, and consultation periods.
- Issue timely reminders and progress updates to involved stakeholders.
Regulatory Administrative Tasks
- Manage all administrative functions within the Regulatory Division.
- Prepare, format, and submit filings, reports, and official correspondence related to regulatory matters.
- Handle incoming and outgoing regulatory communications and ensure acknowledgments, approvals, and follow-ups are tracked.
- Maintain official document templates, reference numbering systems, and filing logs.
- Organize meetings with regulators and government representatives, including preparation of agendas, briefing materials, and documentation.
- Ensure timely fulfillment of commitments arising from meetings.
- Keep a centralized and accessible repository for regulatory submissions, licenses, correspondence, meeting records, and compliance evidence with proper version control.
- Assist Regulatory Managers in consolidating relevant data and documentation for submissions.
Required Expertise and Qualifications
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Strong integrity and resilience, capable of managing high-pressure scenarios.
- Highly analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.
- Strong capability in administration and organizational tasks.
- Proficiency in compliance monitoring and reporting.
- Experience with document control and records management.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Public Policy, Economics, or related disciplines.
- Between 2 to 5 years of experience in Regulatory affairs, compliance, or legal administration.
- Experience in telecommunications or other regulated sectors is advantageous.
- Sound understanding of legal requirements and procedures.
