Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for experienced Registered Nurse Experts to create, assess, and refine tasks related to nursing practice, clinical workflows, and patient care management aimed at advancing frontier AI initiatives. The role involves developing technically accurate and practical test tasks that evaluate AI model capabilities within the nursing process, clinical assessments, patient monitoring, and care coordination.
Responsibilities
- Develop expert-level tasks and gold-standard solutions focused on nursing care, clinical evaluation, and coordination complying with quality standards.
- Create authentic clinical scenarios encompassing nursing assessments, triage decisions, care planning, patient education, and interdisciplinary communications.
- Implement rubric standards and grading frameworks established by the Functional Subject Matter Expert Lead.
- Collaborate with senior reviewers to incorporate calibration feedback, enhance outputs, and iterate task designs.
- Ensure all produced clinical scenarios, charts, and nursing interventions are accurate, realistic, and conform to up-to-date clinical guidelines.
- Maintain alignment with project policies, quality requirements, and deadlines.
Requirements
- Approximately 3 to 8 years of bedside/clinical nursing experience, with recent active clinical practice within the past 3 years.
- Hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in current practicing jurisdiction; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Strong command of the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, along with abilities in patient triage, recognizing clinical deterioration, care coordination, and interdisciplinary communication.
- Demonstrated experience producing clinical documentation such as nursing care plans, SOAP notes, discharge instructions, SBAR handoffs, and clinical assessment summaries.
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret vital signs, laboratory values, and clinical symptoms to prioritize interventions and assess clinical risk.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety, realism, and evidence-based nursing standards in reviewing clinical cases and patient files.
- Effective written communication skills for composing clinical vignettes, nursing prompts, and structured evaluation rubrics.
- Self-driven and capable of working independently while responding constructively to feedback and guidance under senior oversight.
Education & Experience
Applicants must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in any field. Prior exposure to AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, or quality assurance roles is preferred but not mandatory.
Offer Details & Terms
- Commitment expected is at least 4 hours daily, up to 40 hours weekly, with 4 hours overlapping Pacific Standard Time.
- Engagement is governed by a contractor arrangement lasting approximately 9 weeks.
