Recruitment Specialist (Qatari Nationals Only)

Role Overview

Qatar Airways invites applications for the position of Recruitment Specialist to be located in Doha, Qatar, within the Flight Operations - Flight Deck Crew Recruitment & Selection team. The successful candidate will ensure the Flight Deck team is staffed optimally to support organizational goals by providing expert recruitment advice and data-driven guidance to hiring managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the recruitment process for an assigned number of open pilot positions, coordinating closely with the Flight Deck Pilot Recruitment team to achieve targets for hire quality, hiring efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, guiding them through recruitment procedures to uphold process integrity.
• Assess candidate competencies, alignment with company culture, and motivation levels to build a qualified talent pipeline matching the financial year’s staffing requirements.
• Coordinate recruitment campaigns by organizing, promoting, and conducting interviews in adherence to departmental procedures and best practices.
• Conduct routine audits of candidate records and reports to ensure compliance with recruitment standards.
• Communicate updated policy and procedural changes effectively to candidates through Applicant Tracking Systems and emails.
• Ensure all recruitment activities comply with Qatar Airways group policies, maintaining accurate and consistent data across relevant platforms such as ATS.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• Possession of at least a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university.
• Demonstrable prior experience in recruitment, with preference given to expertise in high-volume hiring.
• Proven success in independently sourcing a significant volume of candidates utilizing advanced market research techniques.
• Strong capability to influence senior leadership and establish trusted relationships with both managers and candidates.
• Adaptability and political acumen to navigate complex organisational environments characterized by continual change and competing priorities.
• Comprehensive understanding of the organization's core business strategies, operational challenges, and long term objectives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Oracle, and Applicant Tracking Systems.
• Excellent planning, organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
