Job Overview
The Recruitment Specialist will take charge of the end-to-end hiring process, recruiting for a broad array of roles across the organization. This position focuses on creating and implementing strategic sourcing techniques, building strong pools of talent, and ensuring candidates experience a smooth and respectful recruitment journey, all supporting the company’s expansion and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire recruitment cycle, from crafting job postings and vetting applicants to conducting interviews, performing reference checks, negotiating offers, and closing hires.
- Work closely with hiring managers to clarify job requirements, comprehend team needs, and set up effective interview procedures and candidate criteria.
- Proactively identify and attract candidates by leveraging tools such as Applicant Tracking Systems, job portals, professional networks, and university partnerships.
- Promote a professional and positive interaction for every candidate, regardless of the hiring outcome.
- Maintain and update accurate candidate data within the Applicant Tracking System to ensure data quality and adherence to compliance standards.
- Monitor and report recruitment metrics including time-to-fill and sourcing channels to management, highlighting trends and recommending improvements.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable employment legislation and organizational hiring guidelines.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Have 2 to 4 years’ experience managing comprehensive recruitment processes, preferably across multiple roles or departments.
- Demonstrate technical competency with Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and oral, alongside strong interpersonal abilities.
- Experience within corporate or internal recruitment settings is advantageous.
- Familiarity with current hiring trends and competitive salary structures is preferred.
- Results-oriented with a solid drive to achieve and surpass recruitment objectives within set deadlines.
- Adaptable and quick to learn varied job needs across different functions.
- Uphold integrity by handling confidential information discreetly and professionally.
