Role overview
This position is for a resourceful, results-driven recruiting professional who can thrive in a fast-moving factory hiring environment. The work is practical and community-focused, with a strong emphasis on sourcing and placing factory hands, artisans, and other semi-skilled operational workers through direct field activity and local networks.
What you will do
- Lead large-scale hiring efforts for factory hands, artisans, and operational employees.
- Handle screening in batches, carry out interviews, prepare shortlists, and coordinate candidate deployment.
- Assist with recruitment for skilled positions when the need arises.
- Organize and run recruitment outreach in selected communities.
- Work with community leaders and local contacts to identify potential candidates.
- Represent the organization at hiring events, walk-in sessions, and community engagement activities.
- Keep recruitment files accurate and maintain daily hiring tracking logs.
- Help with onboarding paperwork and verify that candidates have met all joining conditions.
- Enter and refresh recruitment information promptly and support related recruitment workflows.
- Follow company hiring standards while maintaining ethics and compliance throughout the process.
Experience and skills needed
- You should have at least 3 to 5 years of recruitment experience, ideally in manufacturing, manpower outsourcing, or industrial hiring.
- You need a solid grasp of factory staffing needs in Ghana.
- You must be able to work on your own with very little supervision.
- Strong English communication skills are required; fluency in a local language is a major plus.
- Comfort using Microsoft Excel and Word at a basic level is important.
