Role Overview

As the first contact for clients, the receptionist at Mountain Animal Hospital will manage multi-line phone systems, welcome clients warmly, and maintain smooth hospital operations through scheduling, record keeping, and financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial point of contact, providing a positive and compassionate experience to clients.
• Manage appointment bookings and maintain accurate medical records.
• Handle financial processing efficiently and accurately.
• Support pet wellness by educating clients on preventative care and hospital offerings.
• Display empathy and professionalism consistently, helping to ease client concerns.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated passion for excellent customer service and a sincere love for animals.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to remain composed in stressful situations.
• Effective organizational abilities to prioritize tasks in a demanding environment.
• Collaborative mindset while capable of working independently.
• Preferably experienced with veterinary software.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive pay ranging from $20 to $22 per hour, commensurate with experience.
