About the Role
Our client, a leading industrial bakery enterprise specializing in customized bakery solutions including ingredients, machinery, and recipe development, aims to enhance the creation of baked goods with a focus on quality, efficiency, and profitability. They are seeking an R&D Manager to spearhead product innovation and provide supportive expertise to customers throughout Germany and Northern Europe across a diverse range of bakery products.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the development and formulation of novel bakery products and ingredients.
- Oversee R&D initiatives from initial ideas through testing phases to successful market launch.
- Collaborate closely with teams across sales, marketing, production, and procurement departments.
- Establish and nurture collaborative partnerships with major customers and ingredient suppliers.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a closely related field.
- Have a minimum of three years’ experience in bakery research and development, product formulation, or technical applications.
- Demonstrated expertise in product development within bread, cake, pastry, and snack categories.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
