Quality Director - Infrastructure & Earthworks

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Director to lead and manage the Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) framework for significant Infrastructure and Earthworks projects. This role involves ensuring all activities such as site preparation, mass excavation, filling, and infrastructure construction meet the required contract standards, international engineering norms, and local regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and uphold the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) throughout every phase of infrastructure and earthworks.
• Oversee QA/QC teams, manage laboratory testing and conduct rigorous field inspections related to earthworks, soil compaction, and material validation.
• Set quality benchmarks, prepare inspection and test plans (ITPs), and manage non-conformance issues effectively.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, project leadership, and regulators to guarantee compliance with quality standards.
• Promote ongoing quality advancements by conducting internal and external audits and addressing any operational risks linked to quality.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a similar discipline. ISO Lead Auditor certification is advantageous.
• Bring 12 to 15 years or more of senior-level quality management experience in extensive infrastructure, earthworks, and civil construction projects.
• Have extensive expertise in soil mechanics, geotechnical testing, and familiarity with international standards such as ASTM, AASHTO, ISO, alongside local technical requirements.
• Demonstrate strong leadership abilities, strategic quality planning skills, and proficiency in audit management.
