Role overview
LuLu Group India is seeking a Quality Controller to support the compliance and quality review of imported food products in Kochi, Kerala. This is a full-time onsite role for candidates with at least 2 years of relevant experience, and immediate joiners are preferred.
Key responsibilities
- Check imported food items against FSSAI import rules and Indian food safety standards.
- Review compliance paperwork such as product specifications, packaging and label checks, Certificates of Analysis (COA), Health Certificates, ingredient statements, and other import-related records.
- Spot regulatory shortcomings before import clearance and suggest practical corrective actions.
- Coordinate any required product testing and evaluate laboratory findings.
- Assess compliance risks and recommend measures to avoid import delays, regulatory non-compliance, or product rejection.
Qualification and experience
Candidates should have 2+ years of experience and hold either an M.Sc. in Food Technology or a B.Tech in Food Technology.
