Quality Control Supervisor

Job Overview

The Quality Control Supervisor oversees the quality assurance processes to guarantee that products adhere to predefined standards, customer necessities, and regulatory directives. This role entails leading the quality control team, overseeing inspections and tests, addressing quality concerns, and enforcing corrective measures.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and organize the daily tasks of quality control inspectors and technicians.
• Verify that incoming materials, products during production, and final goods undergo inspections following quality guidelines.
• Evaluate and authorize inspection documentation and quality reports.
• Observe manufacturing workflows to detect and avert quality problems.
• Handle customer grievances, product flaws, and discrepancies in quality.
• Analyze root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Maintain comprehensive quality documentation and generate performance reports.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, customer expectations, and standards such as ISO 9001.
• Provide training and guidance to QC team members on inspection methods and quality benchmarks.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain departments to enhance product quality.
• Engage in both internal and external quality audits.
