Role overview
The purpose of this position is to safeguard the quality of raw materials and concrete across plant operations.

The ready-mix concrete (RMC) market is highly fragmented and intensely competitive. In this environment, strong service standards and consistently good product quality are essential for maintaining margins. Rapid infrastructure growth is creating opportunities for commercial and dedicated plants, while also increasing the need for plants to stay cost-effective, operate at high capacity utilization, and remain efficient and profitable. Success in the role depends on disciplined execution, strong ownership of responsibilities, and strong performance against individual KRAs.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out product demonstrations for VAC solutions so customers can better understand how they work.
- Address daily customer concerns such as cracking, workability issues, slump control, pumping problems, and cube failures, and then implement corrective and preventive actions based on site observations.
- Maintain the quality control laboratory in proper condition, including product displays and availability of relevant BIS codes.
- Keep quality documentation updated in Labsys and ensure records are aligned with QCI and ISO requirements, including calibration logs for testing equipment.
- Inspect incoming raw materials to confirm they meet the required standards and specifications, and reject materials that fall short.
- Coordinate third-party cube testing whenever needed.
- Perform concrete cube testing to verify compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct trials on admixture dosage and performance, along with other special materials and standard products, to ensure quality requirements are achieved.
- Maintain proper workability and cohesion of concrete both at the plant and at the pouring location.
- Apply moisture corrections during the production process.
- Monitor correct admixture dosage during batching plant operations.
