QA/QC Engineer - Fresh Graduates

Role overview

This role focuses on making sure construction work is executed in line with approved project requirements, sound workmanship practices, and the agreed schedule. The QA/QC Engineer supports quality control activities so that the finished work meets — and ideally exceeds — client expectations. The position also contributes to the creation and upkeep of the Project Quality Management System through procedures, plans, and work instructions.

Key duties

• Support the Project QA/QC Manager or Senior QA/QC Engineer in applying the quality management system at the site in accordance with the approved Project Quality Plan and IMS procedures.
• Raise work inspection requests for each construction task and forward them to the consultant so that all on-site activities are properly covered.
• Inspect incoming materials against the project specifications and approved material submittals.
• Track inspection requests and test reports, then keep the Quality Manager and site team informed about progress and outstanding items.
• Set up and monitor QA/QC plans, method statements, and test plans before the project starts, and follow through on their implementation during execution to satisfy project quality requirements and client expectations.
• Make sure document control procedures are followed and that all consultant-approved documents are circulated through the document control system.
• Review the Inspection and Test Plan where applicable and ensure method statements and test plans are submitted to the consultant in line with the approved ITP plan.
• Prepare and submit work inspection requests for each construction activity so that all site works are properly recorded and reviewed.

Education and experience

A bachelor's degree in architectural engineering is required. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
