Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Purchase Executive to oversee procurement operations, including vendor management, material sourcing, and purchase documentation, specifically tailored for civil construction projects. Candidates should be based in Goa and bring prior procurement experience within the Goa region.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee purchasing and procurement activities for construction projects.
• Identify, negotiate with, and coordinate vendors effectively.
• Raise and monitor Purchase Orders (POs) accurately.
• Maintain thorough purchase records, including invoices and related documentation.
• Collaborate with project and site teams to understand material requirements.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of construction materials.
• Track inventory levels and evaluate supplier performance regularly.

Candidate Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience in procurement within the construction industry, preferably infrastructure or road construction projects.
• Strong command of Konkani, Hindi, and English for effective communication.
• Skilled in vendor management and negotiation tactics.
• Organized, detail-focused, and proactive approach to work.
• Educational background includes Any Graduate; Diploma or Bachelor’s in Commerce, Business, Supply Chain, or related disciplines is preferred.
• Familiarity with construction materials and suppliers, along with basic contract understanding, is advantageous.
• Competent in using spreadsheets, basic ERP or procurement-related software, and maintaining appropriate documentation.
• Ability to perform on-site duties in Panaji, Goa while managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines under time constraints.
