Role Overview
The Public Relations Manager will be responsible for shaping and executing PhonePe’s external communications strategy. This includes managing corporate narratives, working collaboratively across teams, and leading PR initiatives independently. Preference is given to candidates with experience in both corporate and agency settings, particularly within startup environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the PR leadership and business teams to finalize the PR calendar.
- Plan and design PR campaigns from concept through analysis, offering recommendations for enhancement.
- Oversee the complete execution cycle of campaigns and corporate announcements.
- Manage deliverables and monitor the performance of external agencies.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Advise leadership and internal teams on optimal messaging, communication channels, and forums.
- Develop compelling stories using diverse formats including long-form and digital content.
Qualifications and Skills
- Postgraduate degree or diploma in communications or related field.
- At least 6-7 years of experience in corporate communications or public relations.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Strong understanding of media landscape and external partnership management.
- Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and a proactive team player committed to continuous learning and growth.
