Project Manager

Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing designated projects, planning, directing, and coordinating activities to ensure project goals are met on time. This role involves close collaboration with the Bandit Client Representative to ensure smooth project delivery, with all updates and alterations routed through this contact point.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to and promote the philosophy, policies, and procedures of Bandit Lites across the team.
• Set client expectations through liaison with the Bandit client contact to achieve accurate project execution.
• Coordinate with department heads to align warehouse functions such as production, inventory, staffing, and procurement with project requirements.
• Develop work plans and staffing assignments for each project phase and request personnel allocations accordingly.
• Communicate plans and responsibilities clearly to project staff and ensure understanding of project needs.
• Maintain oversight and support throughout project completion phases.
• Lead and manage project personnel activities to keep projects on schedule.
• Produce and distribute project reports to management and clients.
• Provide technical guidance and problem resolution to project staff as needed.
• Participate actively in project safety planning and compliance enforcement.
• Supervise packing and delivery phases of the project.
• Ensure all personnel on preparation duties remain task-focused and enforce disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Enforce prohibition on cell phone use among preps, issuing write-ups where appropriate.
• Guarantee productivity and compliance with regulations among project staff.
• Train staff on proper practices and touring standards in line with the Bandit Standard.

Qualifications and Education

• Extensive knowledge of concert lighting equipment.
• Proficiency in Vectorworks and other CAD software.
• In-depth understanding of the production touring industry.

Education: High School diploma required.
Experience: Minimum of 8 years in a related event production field.
