About the Company and Role
wiin is a prominent independent firm specializing in design and client-side project management focused on large-scale retail fitout and signage rebranding projects across Australia, New Zealand, and the broader Asia Pacific region. Currently, they seek an experienced Project Manager or Project Coordinator to facilitate the delivery of a significant rebranding initiative underway throughout Australia. This initiative concentrates on a coordinated rollout of both 2D and 3D signage to all stores in the network, requiring excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder liaison capabilities.
You will join a small, energetic project team and report directly to the Projects Director and client. The position is fully remote, enabling work from home with flexibility.
Project Overview
The large-scale rebrand involves installing a variety of signage types including external illuminated signs, fabricated three-dimensional lettering, fascia signage, window graphics, wayfinding signage, and internal branding elements. Each location has specific requirements necessitating detailed planning and coordination to maintain brand uniformity and ensure the project's success.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize on-site audits across Australian locations either personally or via subcontractors and regional teams.
- Analyze audit data to determine correct branding solutions per site.
- Create precise project briefs to guide the design team.
- Review design outputs for compliance with brand standards and project needs.
- Manage client approvals and stakeholder review cycles.
- Oversee tender processes, including solicitation and evaluation of contractors for signage production and installation.
- Coordinate manufacturing logistics and installation schedules.
- Supervise quality control through production and installation phases.
- Maintain project planning documents including schedules, risk registers, and rollout progress trackers.
- Provide routine progress updates and reports to clients and senior management.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs while preserving design intent.
Additional Duties
- Examine current CAD plans, elevations, and branding guidelines for accuracy.
- Develop site-specific signage schedules covering external and internal sign placements.
- Coordinate with fabricators to confirm lead times, finishes, and quality assurance sign-offs.
- Maintain live updates on rollout statuses including permits, production, shipping, and installation.
- Schedule and oversee installers ensuring adherence to safety protocols and thorough documentation upon completion.
- Present weekly reports covering progress, project risks, and value engineering opportunities to maintain brand fidelity.
Project Acceptance Criteria
- Signage schedules for each store fully approved by project leadership.
- All production files delivered to vendors without errors.
Tools and Technical Skills
- Familiarity with Smartsheet or similar project management tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic CorelDRAW skills for artwork and production review.
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat and CAD drawing assessment.
- Knowledge of signage materials like aluminum, acrylic, illuminated signs, and LED technology to aid supplier communication.

Work Environment and Travel
All personnel operate remotely from home offices. The minimum technical setup includes a high-performance computer, dual 23-inch monitors, and high-speed internet. Flexible working hours support autonomy and work-life balance, but require self-motivation and productivity in a remote setup. A valid driver's license and car access are mandatory for travel purposes.
