Role Overview

The Project Management Specialist on Agoda's Languages Team manages localization projects ensuring products, campaigns, and customer experiences resonate globally. Handling localization across 40+ languages, this role balances deadlines, priorities, and stakeholders to deliver seamless content aligned with market launches.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee localization projects from conception through delivery and follow-up, including planning, scheduling, and quality control.
• Coordinate multiple simultaneous, time-sensitive translation and localization workflows for diverse content types tied to product releases and marketing.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, engineers, marketing, legal, customer support, business leaders, and language experts to define needs and deliver quality results.
• Manage relationships with external language vendors including task assignments, capacity planning, performance monitoring, and budget oversight.
• Leverage AI-powered translation and project management tools to enhance automation, cut manual efforts, and improve team efficiency.
• Proactively identify risks and barriers, resolve issues, develop contingency plans, and escalate concerns as needed.
• Maintain clear documentation, project tracking, reports, and workflows for stakeholder transparency.
• Ensure localization quality by applying best practices and coordinating reviews to deliver accurate, culturally appropriate content.
• Drive process improvements by analyzing challenges, gathering feedback, and implementing scalable solutions.
• Provide structure and clarity during high-pressure periods when priorities and deadlines fluctuate.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years experience in project management or coordination, preferably in localization, translation, content operations, or technology sectors.
• Knowledge of CAT tools, translation management systems, or localization workflows desired.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills to manage overlapping projects and deadlines efficiently.
• Proactive mindset with confidence to identify risks, challenge inefficiencies, and push issues to resolution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Meticulous attention to detail and dedication to producing high-quality deliverables.
• A collaborative style effective across diverse functions, cultures, and seniority levels.
• Interest in AI, automation, technology innovation, and ongoing process improvement.
• Additional language abilities advantageous but not required.
