Project Director

Role Overview

The Project Director will take charge of overseeing engineering consulting, inspection, and technical audit projects, managing every phase from initial planning to final delivery. This full-time remote position requires coordinating diverse teams and external collaborators while ensuring projects meet defined scopes, schedules, budgets, and quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and communicate clear project objectives.
• Administer resource allocation and monitor project progress.
• Address and mitigate risks or issues affecting deliverables.
• Produce client reports and ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
• Support business development activities and improve project methodologies.
• Guide and mentor team members regarding project management and technical standards.

Required Qualifications

• Proven leadership in managing complex engineering or industrial projects with strong planning and execution skills.
• Background in mechanical or industrial engineering, technical consulting, or similar fields, with the capability to interpret technical documents.
• Excellent client and stakeholder communication skills, including the ability to present findings and negotiate priorities.
• Experience in risk management, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance in engineering or industrial contexts.
• Familiarity with project management tools and frameworks like scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related area; credentials such as PMP are advantageous.
• Competency in working remotely across multiple projects and collaborating with international, cross-disciplinary teams.
• Professional-level English proficiency; Spanish language skills are beneficial.
