Program Description

The Summer Teen Expansion Program (TEP) delivers structured evening and weekend sessions catering to teenagers aged 13 to 19. The program provides recreational, educational, and enrichment opportunities aimed at fostering leadership qualities, creativity, and positive youth development. Through interactive workshops, mentorship, and collaborative activities, participants enhance social skills, self-confidence, and community ties. Program staff collaborate to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging setting for teens to explore interests, acquire new talents, and celebrate their progress.

Position Purpose

The Program Aide plays a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day functionality of the Summer Teen Expansion Program. Responsibilities include front desk coverage, administrative assistance, and logistical support for program events. This position ensures precise attendance records, facilitates communication and documentation, and helps preserve an organized and welcoming atmosphere within the program.

Additional Responsibilities

The Administrative Assistant role assists program staff with operational requirements, participates in special event preparations, and ensures that participants and visitors receive accurate details about program schedules and services.

Work Schedule and Compensation

The position requires availability throughout the week including Sundays to Saturdays on varying schedules, totaling 19 hours weekly during the seasonal program. The hourly compensation rate is $20.
