Production Planner

Position Overview

Our international client partnered with Agency Group EFM to find a qualified Production Planner with a background in manufacturing operations. The candidate must reside near Leixlip, County Kildare, Ireland, and hold valid work authorization for Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain vendor profiles including setting up new vendor accounts and managing vendor rate files.
• Oversee updates and control revisions of cost and sales master data.
• Conduct billing audits to verify accuracy with agreed purchase and selling rates.
• Develop and examine quotations in collaboration with shipping lines as well as road and rail transport providers.
• Organize and administer group SharePoint content for streamlined information access.
• Address and resolve discrepancies in vendor invoices as they arise.
• Compile trucking rates into a consolidated master file.
• Contribute to initiatives focused on increasing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing processes.
• Assist the finance manager in preparing monthly end-customer reconciliations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as a cost controller within a manufacturing setting.
• Proximity to Leixlip is essential.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities relevant to an industrial environment.
• Familiarity with supply chain processes.
• Advanced computer skills with proficiency in Excel formulas.
• Experience in safety management, process engineering, and managing engineering projects.
