About the Role
We are urgently seeking a Production Helper to support manufacturing operations, particularly in the production of HT, LT cables and house wires. This role involves close collaboration with machine operators and production supervisors within the manufacturing department.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist machine operators during the manufacturing process of various cables including HT and LT cables and house wires.
- Handle loading and unloading of raw materials such as copper, aluminium, PVC, XLPE, and material drums.
- Prepare and set up machines prior to production runs to ensure smooth operation.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in machine surroundings and production areas to promote safety and efficiency.
- Transport finished cables and materials to assigned storage locations.
- Support operators during cable insulation, armouring, and packing steps.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and wear all necessary personal protective equipment.
- Report any machine malfunctions or irregularities promptly to supervisors or operators.
- Assist in labeling, packing, and preparing products for dispatch.
- Carry out additional tasks as directed by supervisors to support production workflow.
Candidate Requirements
- Basic knowledge or previous experience with factory or manufacturing operations.
- Physical capability to lift materials and work in rotating shifts.
- Disciplined attitude with keen attention to safety regulations.
Additional Information
- Shifts are 12 hours long, following a rotation schedule.
- Medical insurance coverage and Provident Fund (PF) benefits will be provided.
