Role Overview

As a Product Manager at Topsort, you will manage products end-to-end from ideation through customer adoption. You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Sales, Customer Success, and Product Marketing teams to identify customer pain points, prioritize opportunities, and develop impactful solutions. This role demands balancing strategic product vision with day-to-day execution in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full product lifecycle, including discovery, prioritization, launch, and iteration.
• Engage with customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders to understand challenges and uncover opportunities.
• Develop detailed product requirements and collaborate with Engineering and Design to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Prioritize product initiatives based on customer value, business impact, and commercial objectives.
• Work with Product Marketing and Sales Enablement to ensure smooth product launches and adoption.
• Analyze product performance through usage data, customer feedback, and metrics to refine and improve offerings.
• Balance immediate product delivery needs with long-term strategic goals.
• Effectively communicate product strategy, priorities, and trade-offs across teams.

Candidate Profile

• API and Integration Knowledge: Solid grasp of APIs, data flows, technical constraints, and software system connectivity, comfortable collaborating with engineers.
• Technical Judgement: Skilled at evaluating trade-offs, posing critical technical questions, and guiding pragmatic decisions without complete specifications.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Proficient in working across engineering, go-to-market teams, customers, and partners despite competing priorities or ambiguous ownership.
• Execution Amidst Uncertainty: Comfortable operating where requirements evolve rapidly and external dependencies exist.
• Customer Engagement: Experienced working directly with enterprise clients and external stakeholders to understand needs and resolve implementation challenges.
• Strong Communication: Able to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical groups in fluent English and produce effective documentation.
• Relevant Background: Experience in B2B SaaS, platform products, integrations, partnerships, technical customer success, or related technical product disciplines is highly valued.
• Onsite Presence: Willingness to be physically present in the Boston office four days a week.
