Role Overview
As a Product Designer at Hiive, you will join a rapidly evolving product team where your contributions will have significant impact. Collaborating closely with skilled Design, Product, and Engineering colleagues, you will work within a modern technology stack on crafting quality experiences. This role requires the ability to learn quickly, work cross-functionally, and drive impactful outcomes for the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design of product features and strategic initiatives, from ideation through to pixel-perfect final execution.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to establish product requirements and deliver design solutions that balance user needs with business objectives.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and incorporate feedback to iteratively enhance design outcomes.
- Create intuitive and engaging user interfaces for both web and mobile platforms.
- Maintain and evolve the product's visual and interaction design, ensuring quality and consistency across touchpoints.
- Facilitate design reviews and articulate design concepts to stakeholders across the organization.
- Foster a supportive work environment aligned with company values and demonstrate adaptability in various work conditions.
Experience & Skills Required
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional design experience.
- Expert proficiency in Figma and other relevant design tools.
- Strong knowledge of diverse design methodologies and approaches.
- Portfolio (online or PDF) showcasing your design work with access details as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous work experience within fintech startups or marketplaces.
- Experience leading user research and usability testing sessions.
- Ability to thrive and adapt effectively in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
