Role overview
This position supports procurement activities for a construction project environment in Riyadh. The role works closely with site planning and execution teams to translate construction schedules and BOQs into timely material and service requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with site planning and execution teams to estimate requirements for materials and services from construction schedules and BOQs.
- Source and build relationships with local and regional vendors covering project materials, consumables, plant and machinery, and hired services.
- Issue enquiries, collect quotations for site procurement needs, prepare comparison sheets, and support negotiations to secure the best value within approved budgets.
- Make sure purchasing decisions match technical specifications, delivery dates, approved vendor lists, and internal procurement rules.
