Role Summary

As a Pricing Specialist in Orthopedics, you will provide strategic support for pricing initiatives to enhance value-based pricing approaches, optimize innovation value, and support all pricing-related activities to improve profitability and market competitiveness. This full-time role is based on-site in Riyadh or Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate proactively with business partners to align on strategic pricing objectives, focusing on maximizing innovation value through value-based pricing models.
  • Assist the Pricing Lead by conducting multifactor pricing analyses that identify trends, root causes of profitability issues, and price erosion, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Work closely with Commercial and Marketing teams to configure accurate tender quotations and analyze outcomes through win/loss reviews, simulations, and detailed debriefings to enhance tender success rates.
  • Ensure compliance with local and EMEA pricing governance policies and maintain accuracy, continuity, and timeliness of pricing reports and business reviews.
  • Support strategies that improve product mix to boost profitability and drive price escalations backed by comprehensive price analysis and key performance indicators.
  • Provide simulation support during pricing updates to optimize sales, growth, and profitability through pricing, volume, and mix adjustments.
  • Facilitate pricing training sessions to elevate the sales and marketing team's ability to influence pricing decisions aligned with strategic goals, market positioning, and product segmentation.
  • Enhance reporting and analytics capabilities by developing and maintaining advanced pricing dashboards and ensuring product pricing data aligns with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage timely approval processes for product pricing in compliance with pricing guidelines and lead or support key projects related to pricing and tenders.
  • Keep pricing standard operating procedures current and uphold compliant pricing processes with necessary SOX controls.
  • Adhere to all regulatory standards and promptly report any non-compliance to supervisors or relevant authorities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Marketing, Economics, or Business-related fields.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably managing tenders within the region.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and capabilities in creating Power BI reports.
  • Experience with SAP systems is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and technical skills in pricing strategies, commercial frameworks, compliance, data analysis, and modeling.
  • Excellent business insight with acute attention to detail.
  • Effective team player with problem-solving skills and capacity to deliver solutions.
  • Fluency in English required; Arabic and French language skills are beneficial.
  • Strong communication abilities to engage stakeholders across multiple platforms and influence decision-making with evidence-based insights.
  • Adaptable, proactive, solution-focused, and able to operate under a high sense of urgency.
