Job description
Position Overview
Join Henkel as a Pricing Manager for Southeast Asia and take charge of pricing governance and performance across the region. This role involves collaborating with commercial, finance, channel, and business teams to enhance pricing consistency, identify opportunities, and ensure disciplined execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate standard prices, list prices, and discount structures aligned with the strategic pricing framework.
- Oversee customer-specific pricing approval processes, manage communications, and track price exceptions.
- Authorize pricing decisions involving multiple strategic business units.
- Collaborate with channel teams to maintain rebate schemes and e-commerce pricing uniformity across online and offline platforms.
- Analyze both short- and long-term pricing prospects, including low-margin business segments, raw material cost impacts, and cross-selling opportunities.
- Support the execution of validated pricing strategies and actions.
- Monitor pricing effectiveness, prepare performance reviews, and suggest enhancements.
- Implement and manage global and regional pricing tools at the local level.
- Serve as the primary user and support resource for pricing tools within the organization.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or related disciplines is preferred; candidates with equivalent relevant experience are also valued.
- Three to five years of pertinent experience in pricing, finance, sales, marketing, purchasing, or other commercial areas; other experience levels will be considered given demonstrated capabilities.
- Proficiency in business English to effectively communicate with regional stakeholders and prepare documentation.
- Strong analytical skills with confident use of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with SAP is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Python, or similar analytics platforms is a plus.
