Plant Operator

Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Plant Operator to manage water treatment operations in Pune. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating water system equipment, performing maintenance, and ensuring effective functioning of plant machinery under shift schedules.

Responsibilities

• Operate water treatment systems and equipment to meet required parameters during shift work.
• Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, valves, filters, and related machinery to ensure smooth functioning.
• Conduct regular testing of plant operations and maintain detailed logs and records for compliance.
• Manage plant unit operations including water filtration, Reverse Osmosis (RO), Electrodeionization (EDI), Purified Water Distribution System (PWDS), Water for Injection (WFI), and Process Steam Generator (PSG) systems.
• Handle centrifugal and vacuum pumps, tanks, and piping systems as part of operational duties.
• Ensure cleaning and upkeep of plant machinery and surrounding operational areas to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
• Support lifting and shifting of materials along with other operational tasks as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 12th grade pass, Diploma, ITI, or BSc qualification.
• Prior experience of at least 1 year in plant operation is preferred; however, freshers are encouraged to apply.
