Job Description
As a Picker / Packer at Swiggy Instamart, you will be responsible for efficiently selecting and packaging customer orders in our warehouse located in Mumbai. The role involves accurately locating items, ensuring product quality, securely packing orders, and properly labeling shipments. You will also assist in managing inventory and maintaining safety standards within the workspace.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately identify and retrieve items from shelves using paper pick tickets or RF scanners.
- Examine products for any damage, defects, or missing components before packing.
- Package goods securely with the correct materials to avoid damage during transit and ensure proper labeling.
- Update inventory records using warehouse management software and help with cycle counts and restocking.
- Keep the work area clean and organized while following warehouse safety regulations and OSHA guidelines.
