Role Overview
We are seeking a diligent Pharmacist to join Homeocare International in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. This role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals and patients to ensure the safe and effective dispensation of medications while managing pharmacy operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate effectively with doctors and patients to understand prescription needs.
- Maintain consistent eye contact to establish trust and clear communication with patients.
- Offer precise guidance on medicine dosages and appropriate medication forms.
- Dispense medicines accurately to patients following prescription guidelines.
- Ensure proper and secure storage of all medications.
- Maintain and update Pharmacy and Stock Registers meticulously.
- Handle prescriptions with care and verify details thoroughly.
- Process billing accurately and hand over medicines after thorough cross-checking.
- Advise patients regarding correct dosage instructions.
- Monitor and maintain required storage temperatures for medicines.
- Raise requisition (Indents) for medicines to the Pharmacy Stores as needed.
- Regularly replenish medicines in designated racks ensuring timely availability.
- Organize medicines by segregating look-alike and sound-alike drugs using color coding.
- Identify and separate high-risk and high-alert medications with specific color labels.
Compensation
The position offers a monthly salary ranging from 12,000 to 14,000 INR.
