Role Summary
The Personal Security Officer position involves safeguarding assigned persons and their immediate surroundings. This role requires full-time, on-premises presence in Kollam, Kerala. Responsibilities include providing close protection, surveilling environments, and detecting potential hazards. The officer escorts clients during transportation and engagements, conducts security inspections at various locations, and liaises with local authorities or internal security teams when necessary. Maintaining awareness of situations, adhering to security protocols, reporting incidents and concerns, as well as responding rapidly to emergencies are essential. The officer must consistently present a professional demeanor, maintain confidentiality, and embody the organization's values.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in observation, situational awareness, and threat evaluation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, including conflict resolution and de-escalation.
- Good physical condition, endurance, and capability to act promptly in stressful or urgent situations.
- Familiarity with fundamental security procedures, emergency response protocols, and secure transportation methods.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately, maintain confidentiality, and cooperate with security staff.
- Experience in security services, law enforcement, military, or similar sectors is advantageous.
- Preferred certifications or training related to personal protection, first aid, or self-defense techniques.
- Availability to work nonstandard hours, such as evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet client requirements.
