About the Role
At APM Terminals, the People Services & Operations division, including Payroll, encompasses diverse roles that support established human resources functions through advisory and administrative responsibilities. This includes handling employment issues, managing personnel records, compiling statistical reports, implementing rewards programs, ensuring payroll delivery and compliance, delivering people services support, and automating workflows.
The administrative responsibilities center on technical, operational, and administrative tasks that aid others. Positions may vary from entry-level with supervision to experienced individual contributors possessing strong technical or practical knowledge in specific domains, executing specialized work to sustain operations. Senior roles work autonomously, applying standards while also adapting processes to resolve challenges. The position focuses on assignments of limited complexity, requiring independent judgment within guidelines and typically supervision.
Candidates will have developed relevant skills through formal training and practical experience in their area, with familiarity of standardized routines and general information. Non-routine issues should be escalated to more experienced colleagues or supervisors. Initial hiring requires limited business and job knowledge.
