Job Responsibilities
- Audit new hire and departure data from DayForce to guarantee complete accuracy in payroll entries, promptly reporting any discrepancies to Human Resources.
- Maintain employee payroll records by updating tax status and direct deposit information as needed.
- Address employee payroll inquiries; compute payments for contractors; process off-cycle paychecks including retroactive adjustments and final settlements.
- Administer involuntary wage deductions such as garnishments in compliance with legal orders.
- Provide employment verification upon request.
- Timely preparation of union and certified payroll reports.
- Adhere to company policies and assist with other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with payroll software, preferably DayForce or other cloud-based systems like UKG, ADP, or Workday.
- Knowledge of relevant federal, state wage, tax laws, and payroll compliance standards.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
- Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Confidential handling of sensitive payroll information.
- Professional and tactful customer service communication skills, both verbal and written.

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Four to six years of payroll experience.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $75,000 to $85,000 annually, based on experience.
- Eligibility for annual performance-based bonus, contingent on individual and company performance.
- 401(k) plan with dollar-for-dollar company match up to 4% of eligible pay, with immediate vesting.

- Life and disability insurance offered with basic coverage of $50,000 and option for additional coverage purchases.
