About the Role
Aramark UK is looking for a meticulous and goal-oriented Payroll Specialist to become part of our Leeds-based team on a permanent and hybrid basis. Reporting to the Payroll Lead, this role involves overseeing payroll administration, taking payroll processes from start to finish, and assisting with payroll activities across various sectors. Job Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll administration with thorough knowledge of the payroll cycle, ensuring compliance with tax calculations and payroll legislation.
- Acquire a deep understanding of the Time and Attendance system, offering daily support on its use.
- Assist with the integration of new businesses into the payroll system, including TUPE and acquisitions.
- Reconcile all payroll calculation aspects accurately.
- Utilize experience with Time and Attendance systems to integrate time solutions with payroll.
- Conduct payroll system testing for new features.
- Handle payroll processing, including Auto Enrolment Pension and RTI submissions.
- Manage ad-hoc payroll runs as required.
- Communicate effectively regarding payroll matters.
- Generate various reports, logs, and payroll statistics.
- Create and update procedural documentation.
- Support the payroll reconciliation processes.
- Maintain excellent payroll administration that supports a robust data and payroll function, providing best-in-class service to stakeholders regarding data, system processes, and advice.
Key Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a demanding payroll team managing multiple deadlines.
- Knowledge of and experience using Time and Attendance systems.
- Experience processing payrolls, including handling Auto Enrolment Pensions and RTI submission sub-processes.
- Competency in handling and manipulating data sets through various techniques.
