Role Overview

As a Payroll Specialist, you will own and improve the end-to-end payroll workflow, ensuring accurate processing, legal compliance, and a smooth experience for employees.

Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of monthly payroll processing from start to finish
- Maintain employee records and manage time-tracking data accurately
- Ensure payroll is completed correctly and in line with legal requirements
- Serve as a contact person for payroll, tax, and social security questions
- Liaise with authorities, external service providers, and internal stakeholders
- Contribute to process improvements and ongoing operational refinement
Requirements
- Solid professional experience handling payroll in Germany
- Good working knowledge of German wage tax and social insurance regulations
- Experience with SAP is an advantage
- Careful, structured, and detail-focused way of working
- Strong communication skills and confident stakeholder handling
- Hands-on mindset with an interest in continuous improvement
Work Environment
The role is based at a growing manufacturing site with attractive development prospects. You will be on-site most of the time, with roughly one home office day per week. This position offers the chance to help shape processes and structures in a visible, impactful role.
