Position Overview
The School District No. 91 Nechako Lakes is seeking a Payroll Clerk 2 to join their School Board Office. This is a continuing, part-time role starting July 16, 2026, involving a 7-hour workday across 4 days each week, with the precise schedule to be determined.
Role Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for various payroll-related duties utilizing computerized systems to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of Grade 12 with Dogwood Certificate.
- Certified Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) credential from the National Payroll Association.
- Completion of a recognized one-year accounting program.
- Minimum two years of recent experience with computerized payroll systems such as SDS or equivalent.
- Possession of WHMIS 2015 Certificate and knowledge of WorkSafeBC safety protocols.

- Submit an up-to-date Cover Letter and Resume demonstrating relevant education and experience.
- Provide copies of all relevant certificates as per the qualification criteria.
- Applicants should obtain their Personal Driving Record online if applicable.
- If WHMIS certification is older than 12 months, applicants must renew it online.

Additional Requirements
The successful candidate must complete a Criminal Record Check through the Criminal Record Review Program (CRRP). Record checks from local RCMP detachments will not be accepted. To expedite this process, applicants are encouraged to establish a BC Services Card Account promptly.
