Pastry Maker

Overview

This role entails preparing a variety of pastries and baked goods in a professional bake shop setting, requiring hands-on tasks at the physical workplace with no remote option.

Language Requirement

Fluency in French is required.

Education and Experience

• Certificate or diploma in other trades or equivalent practical experience.
• Between three to five years of relevant work experience.

Work Environment and Location

The work must be performed onsite in a bake shop environment located in Laval, Quebec.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and make icings and frostings following recipes or special customer orders.
• Order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Bake dough and batters.
• Apply frostings and perform decorative work on cakes and other baked products.
• Maintain quality standards for all products.
• Operate bakery machinery safely and effectively.
• Manage and organize inventory.
