Role summary
An opportunity is available for a motivated Salesperson / Parts Interpreter to join the Mornington team. This position suits someone who enjoys helping customers, works well in a busy hands-on setting, and can contribute to a friendly, experienced workplace. Applicants with auto parts experience are welcome, and those with a strong interest in learning the industry will also be supported with training.
What you'll do
- Handle inbound calls and online orders to support sales.
- Assist customers directly in the store and deliver a high standard of service.
- Receive, check, and put away incoming stock.
- Process purchase orders and pick items for fulfilment.
- Maintain showroom presentation through merchandising, pricing, and general upkeep.
What you bring
- Strong communication skills and a professional manner.
- A genuine customer-first attitude.
- Experience in auto parts, or a clear interest in developing knowledge in the field.
- A polished presentation and confident telephone manner.
- Ability to persuade, negotiate, and guide customers toward suitable solutions.
- Skill in turning technical issues into clear, practical advice.
- Exposure to European vehicles would be beneficial.
