Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Parts Author to join our team at Intelizign Lifecycle Services in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have between 3 to 5 years of experience and hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering. This role demands strong proficiency in MS Office, Authoring Tools, Engineering Client, Team Center, and SAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Parts Catalogues utilizing the Service Bill of Materials (SBoM) as the primary data source while adhering to established standards.
• Conduct thorough analysis of Digital Mock-Up (DMU) models alongside corresponding part lists to identify and report changes.
• Review and assess Engineering Change Management notes related to Bill of Materials (ECM/N BoM).
• Create detailed manuscripts highlighting BOM level alterations to guide the illustration team in updating or producing artwork files.
• Oversee the quality assurance of the finalized catalogues to ensure deliverables meet required standards.
• Demonstrate strong understanding and expertise in interpreting engineering drawings, 3D models (DMUs), PLM tools, and SAP systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary inputs and resolve any queries originating from the market.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Engineering degree in one of the following disciplines: Electronics and Communication Engineering, Plastics Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Production and Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Printing Technology, Mechatronics, Electronics, or Electrical engineering.

Required Skills

• Proficiency with MS Office and Authoring Tools
• Experience using Engineering Client, Team Center, and SAP software
• Capability to analyze and interpret engineering drawings and 3D DMU models
• Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools
• Strong skills in managing Bills of Materials and Engineering Change Management processes
