About the role
Paramount Pictures is seeking a part-time, on-site Page to serve as a welcoming public face for its historic Hollywood studio lot in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will lead engaging tours for guests, support studio audience operations, and help with special events and other studio-wide assignments. The position is designed for someone who communicates confidently, enjoys working with people, and wants to build experience in entertainment and studio operations. The expected start window is early to mid-September 2026.
The role is based on the Paramount Pictures Lot in Hollywood. It involves a highly guest-facing environment and requires comfort working around studio executives, high-profile visitors, production traffic, and confidential talent-related settings.
Core responsibilities
- Represent the studio professionally and conduct guided tours for paying visitors, executives, and other high-level guests.
- Lead standard tours that last about 2 hours each, with a typical pace of 2 tours per day, adjusted as needed.
- Spend most shifts driving and walking the lot; average shifts are around 6 hours and about 80% of the time is spent moving around the studio environment alongside pedestrians, cyclists, and production vehicles.
- Work a schedule that generally covers 2 to 4 days per week, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Deliver VIP, Premier, and Executive tours when qualified and when required.
- Support audience management for television tapings and screenings.
- Assist with special events, including mini-tours, guest direction, and introducing films at the Paramount Theatre.
- After 6 months of employment, take on broader growth assignments such as calendar support, data entry, tracking, reporting, travel itinerary preparation, expense report processing, and coordination with clients and third parties.
Basic qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- You must hold a valid driver’s license, have a clean driving record, and bring at least 6 months of driving experience.
- You should be comfortable using productivity tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar software.
- Applicants must be able to memorize scripts, structured material, or other written content.
Preferred qualifications
- Strong, polished communication skills.
- Prior experience in a confidential workplace, given the presence of celebrity talent.
- Interest in building a career in media or entertainment.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to collaborate effectively with teammates and leaders.
- A strong work ethic and willingness to operate in a team-oriented setting.
- Background working with the public is strongly recommended.
- Experience with public speaking is recommended.
- Multilingual ability is a plus, including languages such as Spanish, French, or Japanese.
- At least 1 year of work experience outside college internships is a plus.
- At least 1 year of office or administrative experience, ideally in a fast-moving environment, is preferred.
Eligibility and working conditions
- Candidates must submit a resume online to be considered.
- Applicants must be willing to complete a background investigation.
- Work authorization in the United States must be unrestricted.
- Availability is required on weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.
- The position requires a commitment of at least 6 months from the start date.
- You must be able to stand, walk, drive, and lift up to 25 pounds.
- This is a non-staff, part-time role of up to 30 hours per week and is not benefits eligible.
- Transportation and lodging for the on-site interview process are the candidate’s responsibility; complimentary parking will be provided.
Interview process
The selection process is expected to include a recruiter resume review, a one-way video interview through Pymetrics, and an on-site group interview at the studio lot. The on-site interview may take 1 to 2 hours. The interview cycle is expected to conclude by early August 2026, and candidates who are not selected will be informed by email after the process ends.
Compensation and benefits
The hiring pay range for this role is $21.00 per hour. Pay may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, training, and education. Benefits associated with this position include medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan, life insurance, disability coverage, tuition assistance, and PTO, or as otherwise governed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
