About the Role

We are partnering with a reputable company to hire a skilled and motivated Painter to join their established team. This opportunity offers the chance to work on diverse residential and commercial projects across the Hawke's Bay region. The ideal candidate will either be Trade Qualified or possess solid painting experience, with a strong focus on quality workmanship, meeting deadlines, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Perform a variety of painting tasks for both residential and commercial assignments.
  • Follow project plans and specifications efficiently to complete jobs within set deadlines.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety throughout all work stages.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Hold a current full driver’s licence.
  • Be physically fit, capable of consistent manual labor.
  • Exhibit a solid work ethic with a willingness to learn and develop additional skills.
  • Certifications in Working at Heights and Elevated Work Platform (EWP) are beneficial but not compulsory.
  • Experience with paint spraying equipment is preferred.
  • Abseiling experience or ability is highly advantageous.
  • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety practices.
