Job Overview

The Cementing Operator is responsible for running equipment that pumps cement into wells to secure casings and maintain wellbore integrity. This includes calculating cement and additive quantities based on various parameters such as depth and pressure. The role also involves transporting, setting up, and managing cementing equipment, conducting inspections and maintenance, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate cement mixing and pumping apparatus including blenders, liquid additive metering systems, and centrifugal pumps.
• Assist in operating related equipment to support cementing job functions.
• Configure and use Automatic Density Control (ADC) software for data monitoring and precise cement mixing during operations.
• Help with rigging and derigging cementing equipment at job sites.
• Manage bulk equipment loading and transport to/from plant locations.
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety and readiness.
• Maintain strong customer service relations during wellsite activities.
• Troubleshoot and provide recommendations for maintenance and repairs of cementing equipment.
• Oversee upkeep of bulk equipment and plant facilities.
• Ensure all activities comply with UAE, ADNOC, and client integrity and safety codes.
• Promote and support HSE culture by following legislative and corporate safety and sustainability protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas in compliance with hygiene standards.
• Contribute to preparing section progress reports and key performance indicator checklists for management.

Qualifications and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in cementing operations.
• Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively in simple written and spoken English.
